ABOUT ME

I am a writer, researcher, and ANFT-certified Forest Therapy Guide. My meandering path has included researching plant chloroplast genetics, running a DNA-testing laboratory, working with museum collections, solving World War II mysteries, having adventures in the South Pacific, and writing two magical adventure novels.

 

I’ve followed my heart back to my roots, my early love of plants and all Nature, to create Cordata Press and HeartLeaf Guided Nature Immersions as gestures of reciprocity with our more-than-human kin to restore heart-centered relationships with Nature as part of The Great Turning.

 

I am currently based in Upstate New York, where I enjoy participating in organic urban farming and community composting initiatives, learning from plants, and striving for mindful consumption and ecologically conscious living.
